RivalGroundz.com (“Rival Groundz”) is an online gaming platform offering a variety of games and tournaments for PC, consoles, and mobile. The Rival Groundz platform requires a user subscription to participate in challenges or tournaments. The challenges and tournaments are organized by Rival Groundz (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”). By participating in the tournaments, participants (hereinafter referred to as “Participants”) hereby agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Tournaments & Challenges
The dates and times for the start and end of each tournament or challenge (“duration”) will be stated on the relevant game description page. Entries received outside the duration will be automatically disqualified.
The Tournaments & challenges are open to all subscribed Rival Groundz users with an individual account.
The Organizer reserves the right to reject any entries exhibiting abnormal activities, subject to these Terms & Conditions and through scrutiny as per general fair play.
To participate in a challenge or tournament, Participants must join the relevant challenge or tournament on the Rival Groundz platform.
Credits may be charged for joining a Tournament or Challenge and the number of credits required will be specified for each Tournament or Challenge and it may vary depending on the Tournament or Challenge
If a Participant terminates their subscription or withdraws from a Tournament, they will lose any accumulated credits. Previous credits will not be considered if the Participant re-joins the Tournament or Rival Groundz platform.
Credits accumulated by participants by completing Challenges or winning Tournaments will be redeemable against rewards. Information on such rewards and the required number of credits to redeem such rewards will be displayed on the Rival Groundz website.
General
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
All personal information and names submitted in the Tournament are the property of the Organizer.
The Organizer is not responsible for any disruptions to the Rival Groundz portal, gameplay, tournaments or challenges that may arise from factors that are not controlled by the Organizer.
Such factors could include (but may not be limited to)…
- Network coverage and internet availability related issues
- Issues caused by hardware/software limitation or malfunction on participants devices
- Issued caused by latency due to any reason
- Subscription suspension due to low credit balance in participants registered account
- Subscription suspension/termination due to misuse
- Charging failures/delays
Exclusion of Liability
The Organizer excludes all liability to the extent permitted by law in connection with the Tournament.
The Organizer disclaims any responsibility and liability for any disruption caused by technical failures beyond the control of the Organizer.
Copyright
The gaming images used on this esports platform are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for illustrative and informational purposes.
As a Participant, you are granting us a non-exclusive, permanent, irrevocable, unlimited license to use, publish, or re-publish your content in connection with the platform. Hence, you retain responsibility over the content you post.
Fair Play
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify Participants who engage in unfair activities, as per discretion of the Organizer.
Participants agree to not use the platform to submit or link to any Content which is defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, spam or spam-like, likely to offend, contains adult or objectionable content, contains personal information of others, risks copyright infringement, encourages unlawful activity, or otherwise violates any laws. Participants are entirely responsible for the content of, and any harm resulting from, that content or Participants conduct.
Interactivity
The use of gaming images on this esports platform falls under the principles of fair use. They are used to enhance the overall gaming experience and provide visual context for the content presented.
The gaming images used on this esports platform, including those utilized in esports tournaments and challenges, are intended to foster user game engagement, and promote a positive gaming experience. We commit to showcasing these images in a manner that accurately represents the content and spirit of the games involved. We ensure that our promotional activities do not contain misleading advertising or deceptive practices.

By participating in the challenges or tournament(s), Participants consent for the Organizer to collect, use, and disclose their personal information in accordance with the law.

All content you submit, or upload may be sent to third-party verification services (including, but not limited to, spam prevention services). Do not submit any content that you consider to be private or confidential.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
The Tournament(s) and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the location where Rival Groundz is based. Participants agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of this location.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be responsible for its failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control.
No Waiver
Failure by either party to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions will not be deemed a waiver of future enforcement of that or any other provision. No waiver shall be effective unless in writing and signed by the party waiving its rights.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, such provision shall be changed and interpreted to as to best accomplish the objectives of the original provision to the fullest extent allowed by law, and the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect.

Rival Groundz reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will be effective upon posting on the website. Your continued participation in the Tournament following such amendments will be deemed as acceptance of the amendments by you.
